Arvilla Woods was born December 8, 1925, in Forest, MS, to the late Mr. Albert and Mrs. Maggie Watts.
She was 1 of 11 children. Upon her move to Trenton, TN in the 1950s, she was added to Johnson Chapel Methodist Church.
She was employed at Milan Arsenal and The Trenton Motel before she became disabled. She fell upon sickness in 2012
which led to nursing home placement at Trenton Nursing Home and later Dyer Nursing Home.
She loved giving advice to others, especially her family, to help them succeed in life. She would give the clothes off her back and her last dollar to those in need. She spent most Sunday afternoons preparing dinner for her family and friends. She was well known at Dyer Nursing Home and most staff considered her as 1 of their favorite patients. She believed in the Lord and called on his name up until her passing.
She leaves to cherish her memories a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends from Arizona to Florida. A special niece, Pearl Pigue (Jimmy), who made the tough decision to place her in the nursing home in order for her to receive the proper treatment needed. A special friend, Kenny Pigue, who= visited her weekly.
Proceeding her in death were her parents, 10 siblings, a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and close friends.
