In the early morning hours of Tuesday February 3, 2015 the Lord called Barbara home after a courageous battle with cancer. Barbara was born November 30, 1952 to the late Bertis and Forrest T. Vaughn. She was also predeceased by one brother: Billy Joe Vaughn. She was united in marriage to Donald L. Fisher on September 6, 1974. They had one child: Shannon. Barbara was a long time member of Temple Church Of God In Christ. She was also the First Lady of Friendly Church Of God In Christ in McKenzie, TN for 12 years. She was a graduate of Riverside High School and a employee of Westwood Healthcare. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband of 40 years, Donald Fisher, Son: Shannon Fisher, four sisters: Margaret White of Decaturville, TN Janice (Milton) Jones of Dolton IL, Kathy Howard of Decaturville, TN Doris (Edward) White of Parson, TN, two grandchildren: Shenice Scudder and Kyle Fisher of Murfreesboro, TN, special Friends: Burmah McClain and Meldra Webster and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
