God sent a heavenly angel to say my child its time to come home Sunday morning October 8, 2017. He was born February 9, 1940 to an amazing father L. E Smith and loving mother Mazell Smith.
As a child, he joined Hurts Chapel CME Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents the late Mr. L.E. Smith, Mrs. Mazell Smith and twin sister Carlene Peoples.
He leaves to cherish his memories a two daughters Sheila Jones and Eunice Joines; three grandchildren: Darvest Smith, Desiree Jones, Tranzan Jones; four great grandchildren: Jaliyah Jones, Jaliyah Williams, Aaliyah Williams, Jaydin Williams.; four brothers: Levenson Smith, I, of Detroit, MI., Jimmy Smith, Gregory Smith and Michael Smith all of Jackson, TN. Six sister: Mae Jackson, Darcelia Rose, Mary Dickason of Northville, MI, Brenda Hawkins (Quincy), and Gwen Yvonne Willingham (L.V.) all of Jackson, TN and. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
