Darlene Burkeens, age 60, was born on October 14, 1964, to Nellie Faye Morris Willis and the late Gerald Willis. Darlene was of the Christian faith and a dedicated homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, thrifting, and spending time with her precious family.

Darlene departed this life peacefully on September 23, 2025, at her residence, with her loving family by her side. Darlene is survived by her husband, Alan Burkeens; her children, Brandon and Beverly Pusser; her mother, Faye Willis; siblings Gina Conder and Timothy Willis; her grandchildren Alana (Kintevius) Newsom, Brandon D. Pusser, Detric Robinson, Jaxson Robinson, Jakobe Pusser, Ian Robinson, and a great-grandson, Kyrie Robinson, as well as a host of extended family and friends. Darlene was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Willis; son-in-law Joshua Robinson; and daughter-in-law Shinicole Miller Pusser.

A celebration of life for Mrs. Darlene Burkeens will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the Prospect Church in Selmer, TN, with family receiving friends from 2 p.m. until service time at the church on Friday. Burial will be in the Cabo Cemetery in Enville, TN. Pastor Hoss Berry and her grandson Brandon D. Pusser will officiate the service.
