Mr Joe L Gooch was born March 28, 1947 to the late Lee Willie and Nadine Gooch. He departed this life August 30, 2017 at his family home, making his stay here on earth 70 years.
He professed a hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. He was educated in
Carroll County Schools and he loved fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife Roxie Gooch, brothers Wille Gooch, Edward Gooch, and sister Deaner (Lou) Johnson.
Mr. Gooch has 3 children, 1 proceeding him in death Wayne Bailey. He leaves to cherish his son Stanway Gooch Los Angeles, CA, 1 daughter Tylecia Anette Gooch Charlotte, NC, 1 step daughter Eugenia (Wyaneze) McClain Turntine Centerville, TN, 2 brothers: Tom (Carolyn) Gooch Wildersville, TN, Billy Gooch Cedar Grove, TN. 3 sisters Lealaiegh Johnson Cedar Grove, TN, Curly Staten Huntingdon, TN, Mary Melton Cedar Grove, TN, brother in law Leroy (Laroma) Walker, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, mother of his children Diane Gooch, and a host of uncle's, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
