Roger Dale Ferguson, age 78, of Bethel Springs, TN., was born June 6th, 1946, in Chester County, TN., to the late Dee and Lavounia McNeil Ferguson.

Mr. Ferguson was a skilled drywall finisher, widely regarded as the "best" in the business for many years. In his later years, after retirement, Mr. Ferguson spent his days riding the back roads and spending time with his friends and family, and in the evenings, you could find him watching the sun set from his favorite spot on his front porch. Mr. Ferguson will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

He departed this life peacefully on December 27th, 2024, at the Jackson Madison County Hospital in Jackson, TN., with his loving family by his side.

Mr. Ferguson is survived by his children, Amy (Bubba) Murrell and Brandon (Heather) Ferguson; two sisters, Annette McDaniel and June Cox; along with eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Leigh Ann King; his parents, Dee and Lavounia McNeil Ferguson; five brothers, Quinton, Prentice, Lonnie, Ralph, and Harmon Ferguson; three sisters, Addise Smith, Nadine Russom, and Slyvia Ingle.

The family will have a graveside service at Cave Springs Cemetery in Henderson, TN., at a later date. Services are entrusted to Hardeman County Funeral Services in Bolivar, TN.
