On October 14, 1951 Henry William Murphy, Jr. was born to Henry William Murphy Sr and Ida Mae Murphy. Henry was well known as Fred.
Henry peacefully passed away on Sunday September 6, 2020.
He joined Mt. Salem Baptist Church at an early age.
Henry was a former employee of ICE until his health failed him. He was also a maintenance man and certified plumber and electrician.
Henry was preceded in death by his mother Ida Mae father Henry Sr and Sister Marchilla Bond.
Henry leaves to cherish his memories his wife Virginia Murphy, two daughters: Geraldine Atkins (Marcus) and Courtney Donaldson; two sons: Michale Cox and Tavares Murphy (Ashunda); five brothers: Willie (Molene) Johnny (Linda), Donnell(Bernice) Robert and Steven (Tiffany), five sister Hazel Harvey, Dorthy Smith (Enlo), Evelyn Murphy, Louis Felton (Stephane) Lisa McGhee; Grandchildren: Ja'Terrika, Mitaevio, Mikevio (Chasity), Kiara, Jamarcus, Aviyama, and Vontae; and two great grandchildren; one aunt Arles Applewhite (Gene); one uncle Chester Andy; a close friend: John Avant and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
